Redding Turkey Trot a day to remember

My first Thanksgiving in Redding and I met some wonderful people. The course is solid, some challenges and excellent views. Nice and clear, beautiful morning.

My only critique would be that organizers need a few more volunteers to keep the course clear over the past half mile or so. It's really disrespectful of competitors, people, their families and dogs, to be standing in the middle of the stretch run for the several hundred people who didn't finish the race in the first wave. A little more attention fromvolunteers could have taken care of this.

Thanks to Rob Elvington from my new work for giving me his entry - he was sick and wasn't going to run, so I was able to get into this race.
